In honor of women’s history month and as a female-driven business, the ladies at The Hive Creative Consulting would like to continue pressing for progress this March. That’s why on March 8—International Women’s Day—The Hive is opening applications for its Bee Bold Contest. “All my life, I’ve been surrounded by strong, brave women in my family. We lift each other up,” said Ali Weil, one of the owners of The Hive Creative Consulting. “It’s the same at The Hive. I’m surrounded by a group of women who support each other in both our personal lives and in our careers. I’m proud of what the Hive has become, and now, we get to do the same for another female entrepreneur.”
Bee Bold is a contest where The Hive will select one female entrepreneur from Bay, Okaloosa or Walton County to receive its creative services for one free logo design and one free marketing booster, which includes a marketing plan, facilitation of communication with the business’s ideal customer, identification of unique business needs, recommendations for advertising, marketing and growth moving forward and materials to implement in the marketing plan, which is valued at over 1,000 dollars.
“Our marketing booster package is a quick jolt of energy for your business, new or established,” said Carly Harmer, the director of marketing and communications for The Hive. “So often I learn of remarkable women who put in the countless hours in addition to their full-time job, in hopes that someday they can become a small business owner and fulfill a lifelong dream. I have been that dreamer and I know that an impressive logo can do wonders for a business’ success,” said Carol Zorn, the art director. In order to win, each woman should fill out the application on thehivecreativeconsulting.com and post a 60-seconds-or-less video about how her business would benefit from the Hive’s work, tagging The Hive Creative Consulting’s social media page, with the hashtags #pressforprogress and #beeboldcontest. Applications close on Friday, April 20, and a winner will be announced on The Hive’s Facebook page the following week.
