South Walton Youth Football Association is excited to announce details for the 2018 fall tackle football and cheer season. Helen McCall Park in Santa Rosa Beach has recently undergone a major facelift with complete renovation to the football facility. The new state of the art facility will provide the league with two lighted 100 yd. football fields along with a new concession stand, large meeting room, press box and restroom facilities.
The season kicks off our season with a football and cheer camp hosted by Coach Tisa and his South Walton High School football coaching staff. The dates of the camp are July 19th – 21st. The location of the camp will be the South Walton High School football facility and we anticipate holding the final day of camp at the Helen McCall football facility pending final construction. Day 1 and Day 2 are from 6-8pm and Day 3, 8-11am (overnight accommodations will NOT be provided for the camp). The cost of the camp is $25 per camper and registration is now open online to anyone from the ages of 5-13 or grades Kindergarten – 8th . Walk-up registration will also be available each day of the camp from 5:45-6:15pm and Saturday 7:45-8:ooam. Register online at www.southwaltonfootball.com
The 2018 SWYFA tackle football and cheer will begin practices on Monday, July 30th at 5:30pm. The cost for tackle football and cheer is $130. Registration is open to children the ages of 5-13 (*As of August 1st, 2o18) or grades Kindergarten – 8th. The SWYFA competes in the Panhandle Youth Football Association (PYFA).
