4th Annual Women in Science Conference September 12th

Women Science

Interested in Stem Science? The 4th Annual Women in Science Conference is a celebration of women in all STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) professions. Hosted by the Emerald Coast Science Center, the evening will consist of inspirational presentations from professional women in STEM careers.

Proceeds benefit the Emerald Coast Science Center’s Girls Engaged in Making (GEM) Workshops. All ages are welcome, especially middle school and high school students looking to discover careers in STEM. Guests will have a chance to mingle with the speakers and other guest professionals. Food and drinks will be provided. This year, four professional speakers and one student speaker will be a part of a panel discussion after the intermission to take questions from the audience about their careers, advice they have to offer, and more. This is an excellent event for students of all ages and genders to receive first hand advice and information from local STEM professionals.

The event will be held in the Student Services Center (Building 400) in the Raider Cafe and Lobby at Northwest Florida State College on Thursday, September 12th, 2019 from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM. Northwest Florida State College, 100 E College Boulevard., Niceville, Florida.
